Write Up Of Books A Taste of Sin (Sin Trilogy #1)
This is the second time I have tried to read a book by Ms. Mason, only to be defeated by the inane writing and idiot characters. Our hero is the most unpleasant male character I have read in a while and I just couldn't stack him or his foolishness. Our heroine is not better. Stupid girl. An Sinjun is such a STUPID nickname, don't care if it is a play on the name St. John - it is stupid. Utter waste of time. I gave up 16% of the way through and that was 16% too much.

Didn't work for me. The characters were not likeable and I didn't buy the story. She is a virgin right? And she falls for the crudest "seduction" I have ever read in a story. He is not charming, he is not hot. He is just horny. That's all. And that he agreed to make her a baby when he is to believe, she was the wife of an elderly man who send her out to get pregnant - sorry, that made me hate him even more.

This was actually a fun twist. A heroine who had been a married as a child, once she is grown searches out her absent husband with intent to seduce him (without him knowing who she is) so she can have a child. I was really frustrated at the stupid decisions she makes when under pressure and his equally annoying reactions but overall it was a fun read.

WHILE THIS STORY VEXED ME A LITTLE, AND I CAN'T TELL YOU THAT THE HERO IS AN ADMIRABLE MAN AT TIMES...I STILL ENJOYED THIS. OUR HERO is overly arrogant about his bed play and the fact that he is attractive adds to his nickname, Lord Sin. Wedded to a Scottish lass he vehemently dislikes when he was 14, it serves a good purpose to ward off marriage minded mamas and allows him to indulge in sexual fervors with married women and widows. One night, he meets the most strikingly beautiful woman and

I had to force myself to finish this book and by the end I was pretty much skipping pages. The premise is great but this book is basically a poster child for communication in marriage. Constant fighting that lead to elaborate love scenes. I'm very happy that I purchased this book from the bargain bin at Walmart.

Abandoned wife story. Very clever way of reintroducing them. Hero is a card-carrying member of the shmucky man-ho club, and I kind of wanted heroine to rub his nose in it a bit more before she makes up with him, but otherwise a good story.

At the age of 14 St John was married to seven year old Christy. The alliance was all politics, joining the highlanders and englishmen.Sinjun wants nothing to do with his wife or the life in the Highlands, and Christy is of the same spirit. Shes the Laird of MacDonald and has no interest in knowing her husband, until her authority is questioned and a fellow highlander wants her to seek anullment to wed him instead. Her solution to the problem? To seduce her husband without him knowing it and return
