Tall, dark, and mysterious—Ryder Black is everything a girl wants. The catch? He’s trouble. Naturally, he’s irresistibly charming. Surprisingly, he’s impressively academic, too. But it’s his knack for getting into fights that makes him notorious. Dorky, clumsy, and just plain odd—April Hale talks like Yoda, eats her food based on the day of the week, and prefers binge watching TV shows to partying. She has also spent the past few years eavesdropping on the Blacks’ morning fights. It was her daily routine. Until that one morning that Ryder catches her looking into his bedroom window… and she becomes all but anonymous in his eyes. Hell-bent on making contact, Ryder gets a sneak peek into the quirky world of April when she stuffs all of her fingers in her mouth and faints the first time he talks to her. She’s unusual. He’s captivated. In this delightfully wacky and fun story, we discover that sometimes what makes us outcasts from the world are the very things that make us special. Join April and Ryder in their journey to discovering more about life… and about each other. It will give you butterflies in the stomach, tickle your funny bones, and pull at your heartstrings until the very last page.

A story where April the weird, nerdy, and non popular is neighbors with the bad boy. Ryder Black. The boy who always is in trouble but no one really sees how he truly is. What happens when he asks to stay in her room because his dad kicks him out? Will this change both of their lives? I would reccomend this book but the only reason I gave it four stars was because there was quite a bit of cussing, but overall it was a great book. :)

Friendly Advice: If you don't want to know anything about this story, you may not read my review. But if you want to know more about the concept and the whole idea of the book, go ahead. (:Wow. Surprisingly it was really well written(I don't see it that often) and I really loved how it was just different from so many books but was also reminding me of many other stories I know. I mean think of the idea: two neighbors living side by side for 10 years, only seperated by walls and 10 meters, each

Rating: 4/5I love some cliche good girl/bad boy books, so that's why I started reading this. But guess what? It's totally NOT one of those cliche stories! At first, the author makes you think that it is - the good girl who has never done anything bad in her life and gets good grades meets the bad boy, the slightly criminal bad boy etc. But as you read on, you realise something.. Special to April (read and find out what it is (; ) I immediately guessed what it was, but it definitely didn't take

This story is super sweet. I freaking love it! I love all the characters. And it's only a short story!☺

Whenever I look for a book, I try to look for a main character that I would find likable since it is very difficult to like a book in which you don't like the character that the story is about. In The Quirky Tale of April Hale, I found April more likable than most female main characters of other books I've read. She is oblivious to the bad things of the world, and her personality is very similar to a child, which is very difficult to find in a character. She was absolutely ADORABLE. She also has

Probably 2.5. Was funny and cute but I had a hard time reading it with out wanting to roll my eyes. Overall a enjoyable light read.

This book was something, something incredible mixed with humor, love and all the emotions of the world. At first, I thought it would another typical cliché...But...I was proved all WRONG! :DAs the author said in her bio that she loves making her readers escape and relax in her stories, I must say she has done a great job. Seeing the world through April's eyes and Ryder's pain was something I would love to do again. Yep, I'll re-read it again and again and again...;)
