Ilustration In Pursuance Of Books Seidman and Son

To me, this is a joyous happy book that awakens

us all to the magic of good writing.

Morris Seidman is an Everyman, selling dresses

in Manhattan's garment district and trying to deal

with his son, a Korean war veteran turned idealistic

young writer.

Without cliches, we enter into Seidman's witty and

wondrous world of real-life people with problems

and desires.

This may sound like it's been done before. Not

like this.

The book came out in 1958. It is still relevant

today. I cannot praise it too highly.

Buy it or try downloading it. You are in for a

wonderful reading experience.

+++Frank Hickey, writer of the Dancing Max Royster

crime novels about the world's only ballroom

dancing detective.

Judgment Containing Books Seidman and Son
I rather enjoyed it (I read it as a readers digest version by the way)Reading it as a readers digest version is probably the reason why it felt a bit fast paced and I even felt like the people were talking too fast. The first short side story was a bit confusing for me as I didn't know where the story with Max and Mr. Seidman was going because after the whole episode, Max's name never showed up again throughout the book. Have they actually ended business in the end? I'm not too sure...The mainI rather enjoyed it (I read it as a readers digest version by the way)Reading it as a readers digest version is probably the reason why it felt a bit fast paced and I even felt like the people were talking too fast.
