UPDATE: After some research on Abra Ebners website i've lost respect for her as well as her book. She has dedicated parts of her website to openly bashing Stephanie Meyer, her novels, and her creative process. From where I sit Stephanie is not the one who should be ashamed here. Just a thought.I'm normally a pretty open minded person, but the similarities between this book and Twilight are just too much for me. And I only read 1/5 of the book. I could not force myself to endure any more of this

This book started out with a lot more potential than it lived up to. The main character was very intriguing. But about half way through the book, she started to get a bit boring. And while I understand that it was written as part of a series, I don't think that is an excuse to introduce elements that never get explained. It's also not an excuse to have a bad ending.

This story is perfect for those who love adventure, lost love, mystery, suspense and angels. You can't help but feel sorry for the heroine who's empty inside, forgotten her past and unable to feel -- wanting to heal her heart. And then add in a hero you aren't sure you can trust! Abra puts you into a world of beauty with her vivid descriptions of the powers of her characters and their surroundings. The end leaves you wanting more!

I was so offended by this book, I can't even...well, I can actually articulate it but seriously? Okay, let's begin this as we usually begin reviews, or rather as I do. By talking about the characters. In this instance, there are very few characters that can be talked about. Estella, Edgar, Estella foster mom, Scott and his diminutive girlfriend and the nurse that I can't for the life of me remember the name of.I have read a lot of books in my life, some I have loved and others I have hated. This

I don't know what it is, but I can't freaking stand this book. I hate the writing. I hate that the occurrence in the story are almost word for word twilight. Get a little creative please. I can't read the same story again. So made it to page 115 and I can't take another word of it.

I don't know if it was just my copy, but the editing in this book was awful. So many times I was completely jarred due to incorrect spelling, grammar, or word usage. Besides that, what could have been a good plot was completely destroyed by the "perfect love" between the protagonist and her love interest. It was actually sickening. Still, I somehow finished the book and even read the second one...which, believe it or not, was even worse. I'm only giving this two stars because the premise behind
