Recommendation from a male friend who told me to expect the unexpected.Extremely clever construct - several stories overlap making it a compulsive read.The psychology of the various characters is fascinating : from the main characters to the silent namibien girl you enter a world of absurd, insane individuals creating even more tension through their interactions.Not a 5 as Jorgen is deeply unsettling to the reader and make part of the read hardy bearable.

Arnon Grunberg belongs to the younger generation of Dutch writers. He wrote his first novel, Blue Mondays, in 1994.
