I really enjoyed the storyline, there were parts of it that I thought were just adorable. However, I think if this book were to go through a couple more rounds of edits, it would be even better. Sometimes the tenses were inconsistent and there were a few minor errors with mixed up details. Also, with the way the story was written, I got the impression it was from a time long long ago, however there were certain words/phrases that brought me out of the book for a moment and made me wonder "theyIt was very Hallmark-y and reminded me of Wattpad stories only that some Wattpad stories are far better written than this. Since it was short, the story moved very quickly. I didn't like Wilhelmina because she was the embodiment of the phrase "i'M nOt LiKe OtHeR gIrLs"
My name is Diana Sweeney. I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Asian Languages and Literature. I minored in English and TESL. I have been writing since Middle School. I love to write books that contain a moral and focus on a female protagonist. I try to aim my stories to all ages, but most appeal to young adults. My favorite genres are fantasy, coming of age, and romance. It was very Hallmark-y and reminded me of Wattpad stories only that some Wattpad stories are far better written than this.
