I think I broke my own record with this book, because it took me waaaaaay too long to read this. I mean, I read Atlas Shrugged quicker than this one!! There are, of course, reasons that it took me so long. For one, I'm an accountant, and we're closing our fiscal year right now. Which means I literally LIVE at work. For another, it's Christmastime, which means I've been out spending money like the baller I'm not and enjoying time with my friends and family. HOWEVER, if I was really really into

4.5 Stars for this Beauty and the Beast IRR alien romance. Lauren and Xairn are both lost souls that find one another in the midst of turmoil, suspense and emotions. The hero Xairn and his grey skinned beast looking self is definitely boyfriend material. Although I liked how Lauren was single minded about her feelings for Xairn, she totally got on my nerves because she was oblivious to her surroundings and bad people. All and all I enjoyed it.



Would luvs to write a review on this one, but I'm WAY too busy building my spaceship so I can find the Kindred's mother ship so I can be CLAIMED!! *SWOON* They won't find this human bride fighting them in ANY way!!! This is my fav of the Brides of the Kindred series!! I luvs Xairn!! Highly recommend this one!!

I have to say Evangeline Anderson should have subtitled this book the Periles of Pauline (or Lauren as it were)....Once again Evangeline Anderson has "Found" another hit in her slightly wacky, sci-fi/futuristic erotic romance series. As a self admitted non-fan of futuristic novels, I was very pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this series is. It contains the requisite hot, alpha male hero(es) and strong, feisty heroine.
