Ich hab das Gefühl, das AfD-Parteiprogramm gelesen zu haben!

Thilo Sarrazin (born 12 February 1945) is a former member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank (until 30 September 2010) and a German politician (SPD). Sarrazin previously served as senator of finance for the State of Berlin from January 2002 until April 2009, when he was appointed to his position at Bundesbank. He has been subject to controversy for statements about German

very dry lecture. Interesting data, definitely something to think about, but in my opinion he has not always drawn the right conclusions from it. Some of the conclusions are single sided and very populistic.

The book is actually seriously flawed in its argumentative part. But it does provide insight into German conservative mindset and once insight is gained, the view is not very pretty in the sense thatauthor is seemingly neither capable of understanding the drivers behind the current situation with immigrants in Germany nor to come to terms with it nor to suggest any meaningful more just system of upward (and downward!) social mobility that would ensure that millions and millions of immigrants now



Sarrazin hat in diesem Buch ein komplexes und emotionales Thema sachlich, ausführlich und leicht verständlich ausgearbeitet. Sein akribisches und sauberes Arbeiten ist ein Hoffnungsschimmer für die Politik. Es scheint nicht nur opportunistische und inkompetente Politiker zu geben. Wie auch immer man zu diesem Buch steht, man wird es nicht bereut haben es gelesen zu haben.
