This book had me hooked from the very first paragraph, it was such a shocking harsh opening and I knew the book would be amazing. I love that the protagonist, Peyton, is overweight, that's something that sadly isn't seen enough, and it's the first book I've ever read that features this. Pieces of Me is a book that took me back to high school and I felt like I was reading from my best friend's perspective from that time.
