Worth The Fall (The Worth #3)
Alison is way too smart to be this dumb about a guy.
Alison Jukuri is the smart one. But it hasn't seemed to help her much in her relationships with men. And now she's on the verge of making one, big stupid move.
Again.
Petey Ryan has spent his life hitting and being hit as a defenseman in the NHL. But now he's about to go up against his biggest foe of all ... tiny Alison Jukuri.
A woman with whom he shares a long-held secret.
The third book in a contemporary romance series which takes place in Michigan's Copper Country.
Every book in this series just warms my heart and makes me smile. Skillfully crafted to grab your attention, send you on an exciting roller-coaster ride through the lives of every character, keeping you guessing all the way through - will they or won't they? Petey and Alison's story deals with real-life issues and explores the possibilities of second chances. It is beautifully written and thought-provoking from beginning to end.
Another GREAT StoryI enjoyed this story from Mara Jacobs. Ready for the next one!! So far, so good with the fourth book in the series.
I love Al's character. Was very sad to hear about her and Pete's past and that they never told anyone!! Wow that much baggage for so many years!!! The book was fine it felt a little rushed at the end and didn't seem to be the total happy ending like the other girls got but hey it happens. I enjoyed this one better than Katie and Dario's story of repeating their thoughts but not actually talking to each other or voicing them. Super glad that I read this series. Not sure if I want to continue
This was the hottest book in the series, cos Petey was the hottest dude lf the series. He was huge and hunky and hot for Allison. Loved how their old story got entwined with the current one, liked how she tried to analyze herself and come out losing, too funny. The interactions with the parents, with the sisters, it was a great final book of the series
Loved this book - read it in one day as really wanted to know what happened. You really felt for both of them as it gave a history of their relationship - looking forward to book 4
A pleasant explore of familiar characters. Well written and easy to follow. I enjoyed a bunch of the minor characters as well. a good light read

I was just plain curious about this one, since Al's quick and witty retorts always made me like her a lot.I can't say it was s surprise, although all the history between her and Petey did caught me by surprise. How could that even happen and they still talk and pretend some sort of normal friendship? It does happen a little too fast, and I was hoping Al could analyze and come to terms with her feelings in a better way, but in the end she does.It was a read I enjoyed, as you can tell since it tookEvery book in this series just warms my heart and makes me smile.
